Hello, I am Stephen O’Hare, and at NIFX we offer local expertise and understanding of your businesses needs in transferring GBP, EUR, USD and other currencies.

After graduating in accounting from Queen’s University Belfast, I managed the currency exchange of a large grain importer for five years and then established an international bank’s currency division in Belfast.

I qualified in treasury as an AMCT and founded a treasury consultancy in 2000. By 2014 I identified that there was an alternative to the “high street banks the to offer FX clients value for money.

Since 2014, NIFX has been privileged to work with wonderful small, medium and large business clients. We also value all the private clients who trusted us to deliver currency savings when buying and selling cross-border properties.

Smaller clients trust us in the same way as our larger clients. Our smaller clients may have a turnover of £100k and our larger clients have a turnover of more than £1bn. However, every client receives the same high-level service.
